Football Wagga Wagga has released the Rules pertaining to the Senior Finals series for 2010, available from Download Central now. NOTE: An updated document correcting errors and inconsistencies was released by FWW on 3rd Sept. If you downloaded the document prior to 10:00am 3rd Sept please replace it with the newer version.

Soccer Balls for Solomon Islands

St Albans Anglican Church, in conjunction with several Rotary Clubs, is sending a group of aid volunteers to the Solomon Islands in the near future. We are donating retired team kits but they are looking for as many serviceable soccer balls in various sizes to take as well, and possibly also boots in good condition. Most of our families will have some of both - please call Mike Moffat on 6926 1086 (H) or 0407 837 879 to donate, or for more information. For more photos from last year see below:

Webmaster Opportunity

Our longtime Committee member and webmaster has decided to retire at the end of this season and open the way for an interested person to take over the role. Although anyone who has access to the internet, a little time to spare and can use a word processor could easily do the job, an interest in web development and some exposure to HTML would be an advantage. Tertiary or senior high school students looking for some real-world web experience for their resume would be welcome, but on-the-job training in the upcoming off-season means that virtually anyone could competently handle the role before things get busy again. The Senior Presentation Night for 2010 will be held at the Commercial Club from 7:00pm on Friday, 15th October. This is always a great night to finish the season off. Junior Presentation Day 2010

To finish off another great season, our Junior Presentation Day will be held at the Clubhouse, Rawlings Park near the corner of Forrest and Hume Sts on Sunday 26th Sept. The proceedings will follow the same successful formula as used last year: 10:00am-11:30am - Presentation of OSSG team awards 11:30am-12:30pm - Sausage sizzle for all players and their families 12:30pm-2:00pm - Presentation of Junior League (U/12-U/16) team awards We look forward to seeing all players and their families there!
