Changes to Draw - Seniors, Senior Girls |

The Draw for the remainder of the season for Senior games has been changed to rest Gissing Oval on Sundays and to assist with Referee appointments by having more games at one venue. In addition there will only be one Senior Girls game at Gissing Oval each weekend, with the exception of 2nd August, using the ground on the far side of the field. Recent rains have resulted in saturated grounds which pose a real risk of both injury to players and damage to grounds. Accordingly Football Wagga Wagga has decided that all junior and senior football will be cancelled this Saturday and Sunday 19th & 20th July 2008.
Catch-up games for all Senior and Junior League teams (U/10 and up) may be scheduled - keep an eye on the website for details. |

Coaches: if you have had the chance to read through the rules for 2008 then you will be aware that there have been some rules changes. Most notably, Rule 9.6 about playing up requires some clarification to avoid problems later in the season. |

We have been asked by NSW Police to remind parents and spectators to drive carefully, do not park illegally and do not speed around Rawlings Park on Saturday mornings. Remember there are large numbers of young and excited children about. Please take special care when navigating Angel St in particular. You have been warned! |
